Addiction to the Future

Man is the victim and slave of his future. He is always consigning the solution to his problems to “later”. The future is the custodian of his time. He always desires to be left alone and be free. The harder and difficult the problem the faster the procrastination, wishing not to be tied down or constrained.

He is so lazy that 30% of his useful time is always procrastinated to the future (tomorrow). His losses and failures can be found in the convenient, perennial tomorrow. The gestation of the fetus for nine months can be likened to an addiction, a timeous natural process.

His delay of taking prompt action is otherwise characteristically pleasure seeking laziness. Just as found In the common parlance, “man is the architect of his own fortune.” Human achievement is simultaneously found in the duration of the time of attainment.

Do you agree with me?
