COVERING UP YOUR FAILURE

COVERING UP YOUR FAILURE

Why do we tell lies?

Do we feel sorry for it?

Who lies most – the politician, pastor, thief, worker………?

Or who are you?

The turmoil of the world is the product of the lies we exchange for material benefits. The more we lie the greater our social leverage to importance. We all have no humble conscience and display it greedily. To all of us it is a desperate race to see who will outrun the other in the struggle for dominance.

Our perfection of lies has been regraded for the “excellent “ without qualms.when our leaders say it they take joy and don’t bat an eye. Our lie giving is in parallel with industrial development, a mutual destruct in the making. Our lie is now a code of existence Relate to a fellow man you will notice that his gene is gradually mutating into a DNA of lies. We have ingested so much lies that has made us obese with our credulous mentality, because the technique we imbibe is now a perfect technology.

And what is our price?

A shameless mess of pottage.

Happy New Year to all my friends without leaving one out.

SLEEPING WITH THE ENEMY SLEEPING WITH THE ENEMY Abomination . So shall it not be. God forbid. Is it the manifestation of a curse? The smell of it pervades the atmosphere. It cant  be drug engendered. It will be a great risk, then why sleeping with the enemy. This is a moral offense. An enemy is the opposition to the favorite. Otherwise, it can be seen as a compromise for convenience. It is corruption in its natural indulgence. Sleeping with the enemy is intentionally a peace gesture mostly for material returns. Could it not be a political fiction or falsehood or creation of racial harmony. Which is known as an exploitation of advantage and subjugation. The unfortunate deliberate oppression of the American supremacist, the ku klux klan, with their hatred of the black out of guilty conscience conceded to racial marriage and pretension became the bedfellows of the black resulting in the production and discrimination against them by denial of their rights as “colored” . and discriminated against and denied important offices. This is a blog in racial relation. Economic inferiority creates the taboo of status discrimination. Sleeping with the enemy is an indication of social acceptance and amelioration of hatred. Enmity has a bigger social coverage than friendship and has led to mammoth human disaster than peace Mohammed Garuba

THE INDIGNITY OF POVERTY

THE iNDIGNITiES OF POVERTY

No human being likes poverty but whether we like it or not poverty guarantees being belittled or ignored and life will continue to teach the lesson of failure. To ignore the fact does not change the fact. (Even if you dance on water your enemy will accuse you of raising dust)

It is a natural desire of man to live in abundance, luxury and pleasure that we created but this is in competition with the way of life of the community. But, if you are poor, society is a further blockade. And struggles to entangle your efforts. Therefore society enhances its envious suppression, it is never in agreement with your progress. Simultaneously, the ambition and goal of a social head is to further acquire material wealth so that he can continue to be worshipped and sustain his treatment as a demigod. Ancient and modern history through time always glorify, single out, emphasis and exemplify great leaders’ lifetime and achievements. Libraries are filled with the books of narrations of the stories of great men to serve ironically as inspiration to fellow man and a source of emulation. Poverty has its several social accomplices therefore we act out the ground rules of avoidance.

Thieving, stealing are both

repulsed. Greed is condemned and corruption is unacceptable. Envy should be suppressed, nepotism is a social crime. But these characterizes every human being.

We have no choice, whether we like it or not poverty guarantees being maltreated and humiliated. In our social intercourse and assignments the poor man is inferior in spite of his inherent qualities.

Even in politics the rich qualifies first for public appointment. The elevation to wealth propels the poor members to religious addiction. The accent on marital Union is the desperation of the parties . Wealthy status of each party determines choice or selection. Some African royalties are gratuitously given maidens as wives. Today the social success of a sportsman otherwise is wealth. The fame of a musician depends on the pleasure of his performances that engender financial patronage. The advancement of a person to a greater social acceptance depends on his family reputation and his personal achievement. In his race for wealth, man turns upon his fellow man for wealth by brutalizing and killing each other in the race. He needs supremacy and must achieve it. He devices all forms and types of efforts to get his goal and aggrandizement. He employs all the devious ingenuities in his arsenal. That is why his fellow man sees him as evil. He is always the architect of his misfortune. He lives in his world of self-created inequality.

Sadly, man is evil, indeed

Addiction to the Future

Man is the victim and slave of his future. He is always consigning the solution to his problems to “later”. The future is the custodian of his time. He always desires to be left alone and be free. The harder and difficult the problem the faster the procrastination, wishing not to be tied down or constrained.

He is so lazy that 30% of his useful time is always procrastinated to the future (tomorrow). His losses and failures can be found in the convenient, perennial tomorrow. The gestation of the fetus for nine months can be likened to an addiction, a timeous natural process.

His delay of taking prompt action is otherwise characteristically pleasure seeking laziness. Just as found In the common parlance, “man is the architect of his own fortune.” Human achievement is simultaneously found in the duration of the time of attainment.

Do you agree with me?

Memory is the zoo of human activities, a warehouse of what that had been done, seen, spoken, the totality of all our experiences. Though it has no eweight but it can be felt. It is the engine that performs continuously in response to the order of the heart. It stings with its reminder recurring in bad and good times like a constant star bringing joy or sadness always. Memory is a wonderful permanent fixture of our lives that we know it is there like an ocean current. If you want to know how memory works investigate the functions and coordination of the two. the heart you see and the memory you don’t. The symbiosis is a miracle. Have you at anytime thought of the mutual services of these two organs. If the heart is beating, the memory is working. But If the memory is affected the mind is faulty, and the personality is disorganized. During the Second World War the function of the medical doctors was greatly challenged resulting in the development and study of these phenomena. Neurology/psychiatry have predominantly become part of a study of memory. But the ordinary man takes it for granted until their is a gradual failure in memory and advancement in age. Their services have become greatly industrial. Please take a moment during your free time to reflect on the value and benefits of these functionaries. Mohammed Garuba 973 738 4339 – [ ]

KING OF THE WORLD WHAT CAN MAN NOT DO Man is a deity to himself. He accepts he has a creator called GOD but no other superior BEING. There is a small quantity of a number who do not believe in such existence, therefore he assumes to live a life of his own kingdom and he brags about it, behaves it and set to explore his environment, know, and master it. He started naked with an installed engine called the Brain and a lot of wires called the nervous system, The wires interconnect the brain to the organs. Over his scientific study and exploration he now knows much about the brain and the surrounding in which he lives. He overpowers the animals that live with him and converts the plants and the animals to food by agricultural process. He knows the ball on which he lives and gives it the name Earth. This Earth contains a lot of material information both beneficial and injurious to him therefore he manipulates and utilizes it. The oil and gold he found in it have been very useful. He lives in a community started a rivalry, superiority and leadership ambition and control over his fellow man. He becomes vain. With his knowledge and acquired power overreaches his interest. He develops himself furthermore to surpass and rule his fellow man and achieve bigger and more powerful reign but ironically they collectively grew into empires. He confronts, investigates and attacks his diseases and overcomes them one after the other. In his curiosity in his journey of existence he began to explore the mystery of the space above him. He discovers a lot of incredible materials and started an adventure. He invents contraptions for his travel and communications both in the air and on land. He achieves further by landing on the Moon nearest to his planet. With his inventions he improves and cut short and improves his means of communications. His success spurred him to further space exploration to land again on the far side of the moon. He creates his own image and likeness in artificial pictures called photography. Because outside God, he wonders and assumes a spiritual quality of a supernatural power of reincarnation and concluded on his immortality, life after death, or resurrection. Is man not a king of the world and the master of himself? Mohammed Garuba

DO TEARS EXPRESS PAIN OR

JOY!

It is the conversion of emotion into a colorless water that man or woman discharge to express their state of mind or body,

Sometime it is provoked by sorrowful incident, Joy, corporal punishment, painful words, depression of loss, success or failure, or fear of danger. Volume of discharge depends on the degree of agony or happiness. Discharge of tears spans across all ages depending on who is affected and the degree of hurt and the length of tolerance. Tears in most cases are a bit warm. Tears are natural in all persons, be you rich or poor, adult or young. Or any other social cause Depending on the gravity of the cause. Many motives for retaliation are usually a reason for reaction.

Tear is one of the human emotions that affect and alter moods. Simultaneously phlegm accompanies it, which is a white watery fluid that comes out of the nostrils. It can be sugary and a little tepid and sticky.

Can we salvage tears. Is it possible by addressing the causes through expression, avoidance, or embracement of what it delivers to our emotions. Tear is one of the unique services of nature. We cannot pretend or avoid it as it is an effective deliverable cargo of humanity. As it cannot be pretended or disqualified. This condition is not even open to us.

Buhari is really inventing Nigeria, smoldering the country back to the moral character of the 40s, reversing the goalpost to what we knew and were told. He is the miracle of ‘Dubai’.

The ‘shit’ has hit the fan and the fraudsters are forced into disarray, scampering in various directions. The chicken has come home to roost. It is now hell without the heat. A great surprise to all Nigerians! They suspected, but didn’t know the corruption was that much. Daniel has come to judgement.

The human massacre of the Boko Haram decimated the population and put the world on notice of the atrocities of man’s inhumanity which was worse than open cannibalism. The perpetrators encouraged the licentiousness. Money allocated to fight the massacre was being converted to personal ownership to the ignorance of the populace until Buhari unveiled the massive fraud. It was a painful revelation and discovery. Boko Haram kills one and the government agent gets paid for it and benefitted with extra payments. Nigeria became an amusement park. The government treasury was turned into an abattoir and the cohort contractors awaited new cesspools of money to dredge.

Foreigners who existed as business adventurers joined in the looting. They were brow-beaten, forced to be engrossed in the fraud, since they came for money. Nigeria was a fabulously rich country and the citizens could be carefree. How to spend the money was the difficulty. But there was plenty of it. Acquisition of real estate all over the world became a competitive fashion and prices escalated.

Social parties became an obsession, increasingly grandiose, who would outspend the other, wealth was flaunted, to the amazement of the poor who were reduced to praise singers.

The anger of the civil society was provoked. They began to applaud and appreciate the new sunshine as they had been mystified by the severity of the current rain. Prosecution started.

The counsels of the plunderers came out unwittingly with the spurious defense and the legal dictum that ” you cannot break the law to enforce the law.”

Then ‘padding’ was uncovered. This was inflating the budget of the executives to loot more money for the National Assembly, an innovated act in the national budget review. A fraud to line up their pockets some more, but providence will not permit it. The gamble was revealed.

Don’t fight the pig, both of you will get dirty but the pig will be happy.

An elephant will not cross an unsteady bridge. The rule of law became an instrument of punishment. The agent of the government, EFCC, implemented all the full powers vested in it. We now know that the insect that consumes the leaves lives in the leaves. The infamous and ignominious acts are now in full possession and knowledge of innocent and patriotic Nigerians. An insurrection is stirred awake.

The court watered down the defense of immunity of the ‘sacred political cows’ to the right of the Government to investigate the possession of wealth and halt the conversion of same. Further looting and disposal became impossible. Nigeria’s paradise had been lost but now been gradually regained.

The rich also cry. It is a fame set aflame.

The Carnival is Over

Since I was born and transited through the process of upbringing, the goal post of Nigeria’s political life has been moved to various positions of regions, religions and tribes – no thanks to the British colonists that started it with manipulated census results. This manipulation eventually made us infamous. Initially we started as an agrarian country, then we found oil. The military intervened and oil took over the finance of the country through the use of literary administrators. Due to rebellion they had to fight a civil war to unify and retain the nation as one. Obviously and naturally our seduction, mainstay and prop was oil.

In contrast, the Asian countries that became simultaneously independent as we did concentrated on their natural resources while we lived on our oil and frolicked extravagantly as our modus operandi. The returns made us opulent and pleasure-seekers and celebrants such that it became insufficient for our fostered appetite. We went to town with reckless abandon. Our social chemistry changed to a higher compound. Those that tasted of it grew into a lavish social generation. The new way of life generated a culture.

The Asian countries that had their independence at the same time as us had no oil, but they worked on their development by concentrating on other natural resources.

Woe deteriorated Nigerians’ lifestyles. Once an affluent and rich African nation, we became a pariah and beggarly. Exploitation of oil on a global scale and insufficient supply made people become desperate, painful and regrettable. Embarrassingly, the military handed over to civilians and politicking began earnestly and desperate.

Episode 2 of our nation’s existence had begun. Out of desperation human sacrifice became ritualized and the carnival became virulent and religious activity enlarged into a tool of exploitation.

Who will salvage us, or can we salvage ourselves from these self-inflictions? Who started this malaise?

What a regrettable opulence.
